So, I'm back from New York. As you can see, I didn't do much blogging. With what little time I had to see the city, I really couldn't see myself using it to blog. I really had to budget my time, and blogging was on the bottom of the list of priorities for me. I had 5 days (more like 4 because of travel time) to see as much of New York as I could, I made the most of it. Maybe next trip I'll blog more if I have an internet capable phone.

Ontario Intl’ Airport.
I would have posted this sooner, but I couldn't get an internet connection until checking into my room; 2:00pm EST. And even then, the connection is slow over the wireless network that I can't upload pictures >.< ... I can't believe I forgot to pack an ethernet cable. O well, I'll just have to wait 'till Jordan brings me one tomorrow morning.
swipe of the credit card at the eTicket
kiosk and 2 minutes later tickets are in your hand. It also helps that all the bags are carry-on. Avoiding bag check-in is a plus; especially when arriving to NY seeing as we won’t have to go searching for them.
As you can tell, I’m able to upload the pictures I take as soon as I can hook up the camera cable to my iBook. So here are a few pictures taken in the Airport.
This is a picture of my mom and sister. I had to take 3 different pictures to get a shot that was in focus. They kept rustling in their bags, which made the shot all blurry. But I was finally able to get this shot.
Well here are the first 2 pictures I took so I could test the camera/iBook connection (I forgot to test it at home). I won’t even pretend to know what happened with the first picture, it seems I wasn’t even aiming the damn thing. But my camera taking skillz (yes that’s a “Z,” I’m 1337 like that) greatly improved with the second photo. If only my bow-hunting skillz could improve so quickly, gosh.
Here’s some more pictures in Ontario:
Mmmm … Chicken Nuggets:
Well that’s it for now. I’m actually finishing this post mid-flight; I’m already an hour into a 4-hour flight to Atlanta. My next post probably won’t be until I reach JFK Intl’, unless something eventful happens in Atlanta that I feel I should post. Otherwise, this will be the only post from ATL. So in the meantime enjoy this screenshot of me winning the minor circuit in Punch-Out for the Nintendo, and now on to beating Mike Tyson. I love emulators.

Just created this blog to create a log of my experiences in NY this weekend, Sept. 7-11, 2005. I'll be posting here from my iBook whenever I can find a WAP (wireless access point). And according to this map there are a lot.

Well my plane will be leaving tonight, Sept. 7, 2005,
from
Ontario Airport @ 10:40pm PDT. I then have a 4 hour flight to Atlanta, where I'll arrive @ 5:49am EST and have a 1 hour lay-over. I will be leaving Atlanta @ 6:50am
for NY where I will arrive at JFK on Sept. 8, 2005 @ 8:57am EST. From there I'll be heading to my hotel, Le Parker Meridien on 57th St.
I will be taking pictures throughout my trip and replace these google ones; and I'll post them in the blog as soon as I can download them. I'll post more later today/tomorrow. Maybe when I arrive in Atlanta.
